Thoughts on sizing

I am so enjoying the polyester texture feel and look of these arrestables. I am not so sure about the sizing advice. I am an average 34 and the L is just snug and perfect for me at beach or reguler pool workouts. It took me a little time to get used to the seemingly ultra, arrest me, low rise especially at the front... I've never before seen such a clever design and I love it now. So I wonder if this is what makes the the 'sizing' seem smaller. I admit I tried all sizes and have M and S as well which feel simply stunningly sexy, stretchy tight and binding and probably a bit bold for the beach or pool but fab at home !!

Would love to see this little number in a lighter blue like sky blue as in the Nirvana "sky".
